Hi, I’ve written an nmap script that may come in handy to nmap users. It queries the Service Tags agent on Solaris, RHEL, SuSE, Windows boxes (if installed) and prints out the information it finds. Quite a good source of info don’t you think? You can read more about it here http://wadofstuff.blogspot.com/2010/12/sun-service-tags-nmap-discovery-script.html and the source can be downloaded from http://code.google.com/p/wadofstuff/source/browse/trunk/nmap/servicetags.nse
Matthew, is this Service Tags agent something that's easy to install on GNU/Linux? This might make a good UDP payload too. Is anyone else able to test this or have opinions about it?
