Hi. i trying to use provided (universal) package for Mac OS X nmap-5.59BETA1.dmg I am running OS X Lion 10.7 and 10.7.2
Your report doesn't give us a lot to go on, but I'd like to hear reports from others as to whether our Nmap package works for them on OS X Lion. If it is really broken, that's the sort of thing we should try to fix before the upcoming stable release.
I think this problem related to universal support and may be luck of Rosetta. Any news regarding version of nmap fully Intel and with 64-bit OS support?
I'm not sure if that is related to your problem, but removing PowerPC support is probably a good idea. I just started a thread about it (http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2011/q3/430).
