Sorry for the delay Bryan, but I guess this is a dead end for me. I dont have the administrator user password, so I can't test this. I thought I had "admin" priveledges, but perhaps they don't extend to including this ability? FWIW: nc in cygwin allows me to open a socket <1024. -J ---- jakehawkes () computer org +1 (403) 991 2276 On Wed, Jul 25, 2012 at 1:43 PM, Bryan <bryan.madhatter () gmail com> wrote:
Try opening cmd as admin. You won't be able to open a socket by default. On Jul 25, 2012 2:40 PM, "Jake Hawkes" <jakehawkes () computer org> wrote:Hello!
