Hi All!

This is the report for week 11.

Achievements:

  * Finished testing and announced the --ignore-after branch [1]. I
would really like some feedback on this branch (esp. regarding the
questions I posted in the thread [1]).
  * Came up with the idea that if a version script is called by name,
the script/version intensity check should be ignored.
  * Commits:
o Cleaned up and committed Zenmap Topology Noise patch [2] as
        revision 33377.
o Committed the improvement of OS detection (when 'tcpwrapped')
        patch [3] as revision 33378.
o Cleaned up and committed NSE version script intensity patch [4]
        as revision 33379.
o Made version scripts obey version intensity (committed as
        revision 33380, 33381).
      o Implemented the version-script-called-by-name-idea mentioned
        above (committed as revision 33431)
      o Some minor commits (revisions 33382, 33420, 33421, 33422, 33432,
        33433).
  * Improved the Zenmap Topology Noise patch [5] so that the topology is
    even more clean.

Priorities:

  * Document the newly added features
  * Work on how to make linux capabilities get detected better (and then
switch to using capabilities automatically, if they exist)

Cheers,
Jay
