Jiayi's Status Report - #1 of 17

 Hi list,

I am Jiayi Ye and I
am pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science at Peking University,
China. I will develop NSE scripts this summer, and my focus is
on vulnerability detection and network discovery.
Last week I didn't do any coding, just tried to get more familiar with NSE.

Accomplishments :
 *  Got contact with my mentor Paulino.
 *  Went through the script ideas page.
 *  Read the current scripts in the vulnerability category.
 *  Read Paulino’s book "Mastering the Nmap Scripting Engine”.

Priorities:
*  Fix time for weekly meetings with my mentor and keep exchanging ideas
with him.
*  Go through the scripts Paulino suggested and work out a plan about the
scripts I will write including the order.
*  Update the tor-consensus-check script according to Daniel’s suggestions.

That’s it for now.
