Udi, Thanks for this report. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of detail to go on, and Lua 5.2 (as indicated by your error message) was removed in 7.25BETA2. You should probably send a bug report to OpenVAS and suggest that if they want to continue distributing Nmap with their product, they should ask Fyodor for a distribution license that would cover support requests like this.
