implementing Vontu right now.  I like it.

We are about 20% through our deployment and are pausing to upgrade what we
have now to 11 before we complete.

We started with just the network, 5 Netmons deployed, the Enforce server and
4 Web Protect boxes acting as ICAP servers for 2 we proxies.  On the
proxies, make sure you do your research on how they are setup for ICAP.  we
are using mcafee web gateway and doing transparent auth and it isnt sending
X-Authorized-User over in the ICAP headers, so none of the events created in
Vontu had users associated.  Working on a fix right now (either move to full
on proxy auth, or their V7 appliances).

Our next phase is 2500+ end points and our 2 email prevent boxes and 3
network discovery boxes to crawl all our shares.

We aren't going into exchange or sharepoint just yet.

I have developed much more knowledge of this product in the last 8-9 months
than I really want, it's not what I want to be doing for a career and I
doubt it will get a mention on my resume, but I know it inside out.  We are
seeing great results with catching people stealing our IP as they leave the
company too, Legal is being kept very very busy.

Also getting great results in identifying broken business process that is
leaking PII or HIPAA data to places it shouldnt.

all in all, the product is fantastic, best DLP solution on the market.

rmogull when comes to DLP, but it's taken me 3 years to get it approved and
countless POC's and rearchitecting.
