[PEN-TEST] Administrivia

Hey folks, I have a couple o' things to pop out to the list. 1. HTML messgaes. Again, for the love of God! Please, stop sending them!!! I hate having to kill really decent post posts because they look like a badly formatted web page :> So those of you MS users out there who have your MUA set up to do this automagically - please stop. 2. Product promotion. I have recently have had a few people post to both Pen-Test and Forensics in reply to queries. These answers invariably included information about this persons product. The replies went into detail about how the product in question met the persons needs etc. I have no real problem with this as long as it is done tastefully and with restraint. We are all adults and should be able to look at this objectively. However, before I approve posts like these - you need to have a history of posting meaningfull messages to the list, not related to your product. Cheers, -al "Vae Victis" SecurityFocus.com
