Hey mate,

Not so long ago, my supervisor had to reinstall his laptop OS with a backup
image (i.e. XP Pro). So once the installation was completed, he tried to
login with his regular credentials but the system kept denying the attempt.
He tried guess the password many times but eventually raised the white flag
and admitted that he forgotten his password.

He brought this CD which had a software burned on it called ULTIMATE BOOT CD
http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ and within minutes, he managed to reset his
account password. The tool he used was Offline NT Password & Registry
Editor. But note that if used on users that have EFS encrypted file, and the
system is XP or Vista, all encrypted files will be unreadable.

Good Luck

Subject: forgotten admin password

 mates,
need your inputs badly. we have w2k3 server with
a newly installed application ... unfortunately, the
system staff who's in-charge for that server has
forgotten the admin password he inputted in the last
few weeks. any idea on how to recover it or other
way to login on that server?
