My instance of snort is dying regularly on this assertion;

in this chunk of code;

]     {
]         assert(idx->func != NULL);
]         idx->func(p);
]         idx = idx->next;
]     }

Anyone seen this before ?

Running snort 1.8p1 on a Solaris 2.6 box, soon to become a larger
Solaris 8 box.
