Ah, I've fixed this one the next day after officially snort 1.8 was
released. :) You guys are using arpspoof, correct? :) the problem there
is that arpspoof coulnd't handle empty arguments properly. the fixed
version is available at:

http://snort.sourceforge.net/snort-1.8p1.tar.gz
(or the daily snapshot).

Marty is busy at BlackHat/Defcon on the moment, but I guess when he's
back a tarball at www.snort.org will be updated too.

Please do let me know if you'd still be having a problem with the piece
above. :)
