I'm hoping someone here can help me with this: When trying to compile php4 into apache to use with acid I'm getting the following error: ./compile --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a my_compress.o(.text+0x12a): undefined reference to 'compress' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [target_static] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory '/root/apache_1.3.20/src' make[1]: *** [build-std] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory '/root/apache_1.3.20/src' make[1]: *** [build] Error 2 Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a *nix beginner and can't figure out what's going on here.
