Hi Owen, yes, i think you are right :) At this time networks protected by firewalls and an ids is not easy hackable if the administrator knows his job (but most dont...). But in the futire more and more 'security administrators' are needed i think (with solid knowlege in network protocols...most 'administrators' i see never heard from a MAC...they think its from apple :). I see a network from a customer which is protected by very much firewall- stages. But they forgot to protect their Cisco 5200 dialins (no auth...) which is located in ther local network...answer of the administrator: They don't know how to configure a cisco... :))) Best regards, Kai. -- Abt. eBusiness / Entwicklung D.
