Introduction:

        IDS Policy Manager was written for the security professional
        who has multiple Snort IDS sensors throughout his/her
environment
        and wants to manage them easily and effectively. This is done by
        having the ability to take the text configuration and rule files
        and allowing you to modify them with an easy to use Graphical 
        interface. With the added ability to merge new rule sets from
        snort.org and whitehats.com, manage pre/post processors and
        ftp rules to sensors. This tool makes managing snort easy for
most 
        security professionals.
