Brian,

You can start out at our site and there you will find all you need to
know to setup a Snort sensor on a Windows box. If you follow my
documentation I can help you with any problems you might encounter. This
is a basic setup with Snort using Acid or Snortsnarf.

I am bringing up snort on a W2k Prof. box.   The faq or the doc.
neither specify exactly how to exactly begin.  Where are commands
entered and such.  I am open to RTFM if you can tell me where
to get these specific instructions.
