mysql error for snort

Hi, anyone can give any idea about the following error?

I installed Mysql, compiled snort with mysql support. modified the
output plugin.

I can login to mysql using snort account. I can see /tmp/mysql.sock. But
when I start snort

overtheway.gongya.net:/usr/local/snort/bin # snort -t /usr/local/snort
-c /etc/snort.conf -l /log

Fatal Error, Quitting..
