Snort dies unexpectedly

Hello list.

        I have installed Snort 1.8.1 in SuSe Linux 7.2 ( kernel 2.2.19 )with
ACID; 
        
        The parameters of execution :
        
        /usr/sbin/snort -D -d -i eth1 -c /etc/snort/snort.conf.

        Snort executed ok, but to the 5 hs died with : Segmentation Fault.

        Something that to consider?
