RE: update of rules is now causing errors

Make sure you have your variables set correctly in the config.

i just copied the new rules to my /snort directory.  now i am bombarded with
lots of errors like:
   error .../icmp.rules(32) => bad priority setting "misc-activity"

i restored that last ruleset but still get the same message.  as a test, i
edited snort.conf and commented out the icmp.rules, and then get errors for
web-misc.rules.

any help is geatly appreciated,
