        I have a cross-over cable from my nic going to the cable modem.
        When I use snort on linux, there's no problem. When I switch my box to
windows, and try to start up snort, it goes well, shows all info, but it
doesn't capture any traffic... like if no traffic where coming to my
nic.

        I'll try to do what you said!
