I had been waiting on updating that part of the documentation ( it has
already been written ) until 1.8.4 was done.  I will go ahead and say
"This is only applicable to developmental versions of snort" and go
ahead and commit it.

Theres a few other documentation clean ups I wouldn't mind doing.
