Problem running Snort on WinXP

Hi,

I am unable to run Snort on Windows XP. I receive message:

Initializing Network Interface
ERROR: OpenPcap() device  open:
        Error opening adapter
Fatal Error, Quitting..

WinPcap is installed properly, because i.e. Etheral is running
correctly. As well as test programms from developers WinPcap pakcage. 

Snort version is 1.8.4 with MSSQL support, packaged together with
IDSCenter.
