Carlos,

        We're going to need some more info to be able to tell you what's going
on.  :)

        Hardware?  Sparc, Intel, Kitchen Sink, etc?
        Version of Snort?  (Output of snort -V)
        Command line you use to start snort with?

        You also might want to give a read over the SnortUsersManual (.PDF and
HTML versions available) on the snort.org website[0].  The FAQ[1] has a lot of
good info in it as well.
