Alternately, for those of you with Visual Studio, download the latest snort
(either 1.8 or 1.9) from snort.org, overwrite the libpcap.lib and Packet.lib
(in WIN32-Libraries), and recompile.  Overwrite the lib files with those
found in my attachment from April 25th (obtained from WinPcap 2.3), which
can be found here:

These libraries have already been submitted to the snort project
administrators, and hopefully they will be added to CVS soon so this problem
will be a thing of the past.
