Well, after 6 months of unemployment I have a job again.  Now I'm back to
working with Snort.  There have been some changes with things like PHP
releasing v4.2.1 which by default turns global registers off to fix a
security problem.  Will the latest version of ACID from cvs work with
globals turned off?
