inlcuded the crap out of signal.h, in config.h, in src/snort.c (and util.c)
same thing.

finally put this at top of both snort.c and util.c:
typedef struct {                /* signal set type */
        unsigned int    __sigbits[4];
} sigset_t;

(and obviously missing something else important because, now:

now, it does compile snort.c, dies on util.c:
