One word:  UPDATE

1.9.0 [0] is out and 1.9.1 is coming 'real soon now'.  Some of the errors
that you are having are due to your schema being an older version.
You'll need to update your schema to the current version.  Since you're
not using it yet, I'd suggest blowing away the DB and starting over.
