Snort and Cisco IP Telephony

I have been seeing a lot of ICMP alerts lately and most seem to be
originating from our IP phones.  Has anyone had any experiences with Snort
and Cisco IP Telephony systems on the same network?  I would be interested
in hearing if similar issues arose.
