:: Hello guys, And I'm sure there are some gals on this list, too :) :: I've got a lot of alerts in my MySQL database. I'd like to have a :: script that runs once a month and deletes all the alerts that are a couple :: of months old. This could free up space on the hd and hopefully make acid :: run faster. I've trolled around in the archive for this list a bit and I :: haven't found any example ones. Has someone already created such a script? See https://lucifer.techometer.net/snort/delete-alerts. It's a simple script that deletes alerts out of your DB older than $daysoffset. Thanks to Benjamin Feen for his help with the timestamp calculations.
