To all Windows users of Snort:

Please read all the notices below.

This is to inform the Windows Snort community that I have updated the
Snort download and documentation section for Windows on our Silicon
Defense website.

Change Log:

1) Revised the documentation to make it easier
2) Incorporated the latest Snort 1.9.1 b231 (RPC vulnerability squashed)
into the latest Windows documentations.
3) Updated the download section with the latest Snort auto installers
1.9.1 & 2.0 for Windows.

Right now the documentation ONLY addresses installing Snort w/Service
Support, IIS or Apache, MySQL, and ACID (including graphing) as the
console viewer. There is also documentation that will walk you thru
setting up a remote slave sensor that is serving alerts to a master
sensor.

Note: All support programs are cutting edge, so precautions are always
wise.

Note: I will be addressing Snortsnarf in the very near future.
