I got this after installing libnet 1.0.2a on RedHat 7.3 and after doing the
snort ./configure --with-mysql --enable-flexresp

checking for mysql... yes
checking for compress in -lz... (cached) yes
configure: warning: libnet-config --cflags is broken on your system.  If
you
configure: warning: are using a *BSD port please notify the port
maintainer.
configure: warning: libnet-config --libs is broken on your system.  If you
configure: warning: are using a *BSD port please notify the port
maintainer.
checking for libnet.h... yes
checking for libnet version 1.0.2a... yes
checking for libnet_build_ip in -lnet... yes

Is that ok? I don´t know what a *BSD port is and if --cflags and --libs is
broken, is that important or it will work ok?

Sure can!  You can combine almost any of the options for ./configure.
One, all, two, it doesn't really matter.  :)
