Hello, I have created out the database snort using the script provided by the sourceforge site. The database tables need to be set up. We accomplish this by running the create_mysql script. This can be found in the CVS tree at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/snort/snort/contrib/. If the file is not located in the directory from which the mysql program was run from, add the path to the source statement. E.g. mysql> source /home/john/create_mysql I have two file system / - 3GB & /home - 30GB Since this script would have created the database "snort" in the root partition.... and eventually the database would bloat very fast and hit the filesystem badly.. I was thinking to move it out to /home partition. How should I do without affecting the whole setup.. Any thoughts/help/pointers most welcomee.
