removal of alert cache

Hello all,

 

I have a dumb question. 

 

How do you delete all of the alerts from the alert cache?

 

I've had snort running for about a week now, and can't find where to do
this.

 

I'm running Snort 1.9.1 on RH linux, mysql, ACID, apache.
