I've seen other people with this problem and I am wondering if anyone has
found a solution.
I am trying to configure snort with snmp on Redhat 8.0.
Here is the error I get.
**********************************************
ERROR: unable to find snmp headers (snmp_parse_args.h in net-snmp-5.0.x)
checked in the following places
/usr/include
/usr/include/net-snmp
/usr/local/include
/usr/local/include/net-snmp
**********************************************
The file is in /usr/include/net-snmp, but snort doesn't seem to find it.
I have net-snmp-5.0.6-8.80.2.i386.rpm, net-snmp-utils-5.0.6-8.80.2.i386.rpm,
and net-snmp-devel-5.0.6-8.80.2.i386.rpm installed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ross
