RH 8.0 & SNMP

Hello,

I was looking thru the archives and noticed there were a number of folks
having the same issue I am.. I'm running RH 8.0 and SNORT 1.9.0, when tyring
to configure snort with snmp, I get the magical error, can't find the
snmplibrary. I "tricked" the config script to find some header files,
however the snmplibrary thing has me stumped:

checking for snmp...

  ERROR: unable to find snmplibrary
  checked in the following places
        /usr/include/net-snmp/lib
        /usr/include/net-snmp/lib/ucd-snmp
**********************************************



Has anyone found a solution?
