Hi Ryan,
You can create a file called whatever.rules and then put in
there all the rules you want to add (assuming you know how rules works or
you have documentaiton on this). After creating the .rules file you have to
"include" this rule file in your snort.conf. Edit snort.conf and look at the
end of the file, you'll see "include whatever.rules", that's the way the
snort.conf load the ruleset you just added.
