This (among other things) should be fixed in cvs.
Try the latest snapshot:
ftp://ftp.su.se/pub/users/andreas/snort-replay/snort-replay-snapshot-20030519.tar.gz

It only works with snort-2.0.0 now.
Install it with the included 'install.sh'.
