RE: Alerts not showing up in ACID

I started with installing from source using documentation at:
http://www.snort.org/docs/snort_acid_rh9.pdf

When things weren't showing up in ACID I shut down mysql and started it
with:
/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld_safe --log=/tmp/mysql.log --user=mysql

That gave me the information I needed to re-configure the grant permissions
in mysql. Sorry I don't remember the specifics.

I have recently set up snort 2.0.0 on a Redhat 9.0 box with Acid.   I am
having difficulty getting alerts to log to ACID via MYSQL.  I have verified
that the output database line.   Does anyone have any good troubleshooting
procedures/ideas to correct this issue?  Thanks
