sending snort output to a database OFFLINE

Hi,
      I am using syslog to log snort output. But, now I want to push all old
data to a database like mysql OFFLINE. Is there any tool available for this? I
know that it is possible to push snort output to a database ONLINE but I do not
know how to do so OFFLINE on a daily basis.
