This is to announce the release of Shadow/Snort IDS version 3.1.

Please do not post HTML messages to this list.

Also, IMHO, having your main link attempt to open a PDF document is not a good
idea.  As much as Abode would like to think it is, PDF is not a universally
accepted format.  HTML is (though not in this list :-).  I will almost never
go to the trouble of dealing with a PDF, and especially not without an HTML
'front page' to give me a clue what I'm getting into.

You used to have to reboot the Windows 9.x series every couple of days
because it would crash.  Now you have to reboot Windows 200x or XP every
couple of days because of a patch.  How is that better or more stable?
