problems with unixODBC

Hi i have compiled the snort with odbc support to use unixodbc but when 
i tried to use the snort i received the following message:

database: configured to use unixodbc
ERROR: database: 'unixodbc' is an unknown database type.  The supported
          databases include: MySQL (mysql), PostgreSQL (postgresql),
          ODBC (odbc), Oracle (oracle), and Microsoft SQL Server (mssql)
Fatal Error, Quitting..
could somebody help me.
