SNMP support

Hi,
 Is there any SNMP support available for Snort 2.01?
Is SNMP plugin the only way to send a trap for an
alert? 
 I don't want to compile SNORT with SNMP plugin for
windows, so is there any other way to forward SNMP
traps? It would be great if SNORT 2.0 binary for
windows is available with SNMP plugin inclusive like
in SNORT 1.8).
