RE: OT: MySQL client compatibility?

Update: I found the problem. The fix was that my database did not have the
new sensor in the "sensors" table. After adding it manually, the system is
up and running as planned for testing. Apparently a MySQL script didn't
work as planned - when I checked the tables I found that some records were
missing - the SENSORS row being the most important in my case.

Thanks, James, I got around that one. I'm just not seeing Barnyard insert
data into the central SQL databases. I have everything working without
errors (according to logs), so I'm stumped...

Gordon,

I had to recompile snort with the new libsqlclient.so.
Course I upgraded to 2.0.1 in the process. Good
luck!

James
