rules error with @!#$ snortcenter

I get this on latest snort center and latest snort
cat: /usr/local/snort/rules/snort_cmd_line.dc0: No such file or directory

the config is :

passwd_pindex=1
ld_env=LD_LIBRARY_PATH
passwd_file=/etc/master.passwd
passwd_uindex=0
find_pid_command=ps auxwwww | grep NAME | grep -v grep | awk '{ print $2 }'
by_view=0
path=/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin
os_type=freebsd
os_version=4.8
real_os_type=FreeBSD
real_os_version=4.8
#snort_path=/usr/local/snort/bin/snort -D -c
/usr/local/snort/etc/snort.conf -g sn
snort_path=/usr/local/snort/bin/snort -D -c
/usr/local/snort/etc/snort.conf -l /te
snort_rule_path=/usr/local/snort/rules

I know its this last line or think it is but  no clue on what else to try
there. Thats the right rules path. its the same as in the acid and snort and
were ever it asks.
