Improving ACID DB Performance via Plug-In

Apologies if this has been posted already, but it was sent to me by a 
member of the DC users group, and it looked interesting.  Basically a 
system to cache selected DB info on the sensor to reduce alert insert 
query overhead.

Anyone tried this, or have any thoughts?  Just curious, as I'm unable to
