Improving ACID DB Performance via Plug-In

Apologies if this has been posted already, but it was sent to me by a member of the DC users group, and it looked interesting. Basically a system to cache selected DB info on the sensor to reduce alert insert query overhead.

Anyone tried this, or have any thoughts? Just curious, as I'm unable to try it myself right now.
