WINSNORT.com is pleased to announce the official opening of their new
website.

WINSNORT.com has in the past has been primarily a launching pad for Windows
users that have the curiosity of setting up an Intrusion Detection System
from scratch using Snort, along with a wide variety of packages and options.
If you are looking for auto installers then this is NOT the place for you.
Here at WINSNORT.com we believe that people learn more by doing.

WINSNORT.com is providing the resources for doing just that, including a
range of step by step guides that walk you through the almost painless
procedure of setting up a complete Intrusion Detection System (IDS) on a
number of Windows operating systems.

WINSNORT.com has now added Linux and Solaris guides (currently in BETA
stage) to the already popular 'Install Guide' section. We have also added a
lot of new options, including a nice FAQ section, advanced search feature,
new forums, and a lot more.

The team here at WINSNORT.com hopes you can take a couple of minutes to come
on over and check it out. Please don't hesitate to make suggestions on how
to improve your experience on our site.

WINSNORT.con is here to service the Snort community, and we would like to

It is regrettable that all previous WINSNORT.com users will need to register
again. It is also regrettable that we lost all the forums in the transition.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but we know with your help it
will grow to be so much more.
