Thanks Jerry, so far so good. :)The idea behind the Dell agreement was to give people an easy way to be able to buy Sourcefire sensors without having to engage our sales team which typically focuses on medium to large enterprises and government buyers. Frankly, if all you want is one or two Sourcefire IDS sensors for a small network then buying via this channel is fast and easy (for you).
Note that all Sourcefire IDS devices can run standalone or in combination with our management console. At this time we're only two out of the five sensor devices that we currently manufacture, if you need a sensor that can handle more than 45Mbps then you should give us a call.
