Update rules....but not all

Hey everyone,

Does anyone have a script that updates the rules but leaves the rules not neded to be updated alone,so that I dont have 
to anything but run the script. The script has to contact snort.org and get the latest rules, unpack them and put them 
into the rules folder BUT NOT delete all in there and put the new rules in ...no no no... only update what needs to be 
updated and leave the rules that dont need updates alone...I think I just repeated my self..big time!8) Sorry about 
that...
