portscan.log

I have read several posts where people are asking how they can generate a
log similar to 2.0 portscan.log file with 2.1.

Unfortunately, I have not found any replies or followups to this question.

Please.. Is there a way to generate that log file with version 2.1?
If not, are there active plans to give that back to the Snort'ers (aka
people usins snort).
Or would I have to go back to version 2.0.
