what does it mean ?

Hi all,

I have a question about attacks classification. I have to write some
conclusions from a graph made in acid. There are couple of groups 
and i have to write what does it mean. I need information about what
attacks consist for each group and what is the purpose of each group
The classified attacks are: 

web-application-activity
web-application-attack
attempted-recon
unclassified
misc-activity
bad-unknown
attemptet-dos
attemptet-admin
bad-unknown
