Looking through snort archives I see variations on a theme regarding no such file yet no solution.
I included a March question , so far I have seen an april 1,04 question
and a january question. Yet no response other that it your setup.
I am runnig OpenBSD yet I have seen this issue mentioned by users on Windows NT/XP.

I am having problems getting ACID to start up. 
I am using apache2 with the acid directory in /srv/www/htdocs.
I have configured the acid_conf.php file with the correct DBtype
("mysql") but when connecting to url http://localhost/acid/index.html
I get the following message:

Unknown Database type specified: a DBtype of '' was specified

I switched on php logging in html, I got the following results:

Cookies are configured to be accepted like stated in acid manual
I checked out the lines in the documents but really dont know what Im
looking for.
Anybody got an idea how to solve this.
